Top Gun was an OK movie, haven't seen it again tho cuz it was a bit cheesy. Top Gun : Maverick, on the other hand, was Tom Cruise in his finest effort. Dare I say that it's near consideration for critical acclaim except for the scene after Rooster saved Mav and had to eject. Add some more emotion when they joined up and one can never say ... Well worth a watch, made me feel like jogging home from the theater.
