A person who wants know the true history of mamangam will surely like the film. It is not a kind of mass action movie... still the war sequences in intro&climax of the film were really great(which I have seen first time in a malayalam movie).. The young boy Achuthan's perfomance was really superb (especially on the war scenes).Mammooka as usual has shown a great performance( especially the feminine character). It is a realistic & pure historical movie.
