This story could have been so much better but ended up being stretched and focused on all the wrong parts. So basically, there’s a gangster who’s the right-hand man of a chairman and is about to become the new gang leader. On the other side, there’s a high school kid, the illegitimate son of one of Korea’s top three company chairmen, who’s constantly bullied by his classmates. His father lives abroad and has no clue what’s happening. Everything, including the kid’s life, is handled by the secretary, who practically controls him and his mother and made their life More Miserable. One day, the kid decides to end his life. While attempting suicide, he’s spotted by the gangster, who tries to save him but ends up dying. The twist? The gangster’s soul enters the kid’s body, and now both souls exist in it together. Later, the gangster figures out what happened, he realises the kid was bullied and decides to change his life before letting go of his body. But by the end, the kid chooses to disappear completely, letting the gangster live in his body instead. Which honestly makes no sense. 1. Who just accepts being reborn in someone else’s body, especially someone twenty years younger, and acts completely normal? 2. When you’re dying, you usually want to live the most, but this kid gives up even after his life was finally fixed? Absurd. 3. The gangster being that comfortable in a high schooler’s body is just funny at this point. They could’ve made this story so much more entertaining. Imagine if the gangster and the kid had actually swapped bodies, it would’ve been hilarious to see the gang members confused when their boss suddenly can’t fight, while the kid learns to handle a gangster’s life. Then, over time, the kid could’ve grown stronger, maybe even become a chairman with the gangster still by his side. Add a little friendship, some humor, and maybe a touch of romance with a Female Lead ,it would’ve been perfect. But instead, they dragged it out, and it just turned into a typical high school K-drama with a small supernatural twist. Such wasted potential.

Omg, this series was so boring. It’s claimed to be a thriller, but honestly, it’s so unrealistic. The excitement lasts only for the first two episodes, after that, it just feels like a mix of random video clips put together. The female lead was abused as a child, has no father, and her mother is the worst kind of person you can imagine. She grows up alone and somehow learns to fight, not sure how she managed to afford that, though. Later, she works in a company and applies to be the chairman’s bodyguard, and that’s where the story begins. I won’t go into spoilers, but let’s just say it tries to be everything, a thriller, emotional, friendship-based, romantic, even slightly funny, and ends up being none of those. Nothing feels real or genuine. The only characters that actually stand out are the chairman and his attorney. Even the female lead doesn’t feel authentic. When she suddenly becomes “the madam,” it’s like she already knew everything, how does someone from a poor background handle such a rich, elite lifestyle so perfectly overnight? The chemistry between the FL and ML is completely off, it’s just not there. The male lead’s character feels boring and forced, like he’s trying too hard. The whole small-town setup and its people feel like the same recycled story we’ve seen dozens of times. I’m sorry, but the casting didn’t help. I’ve seen hundreds of K-dramas, and except for the main 4–5 actors, everyone else felt new and unconvincing. The acting wasn’t strong enough to carry the story. Overall, this series feels like a combination of too many dramas and delivers nothing. I really didn’t like it at all.

I expected this series to be a little thrilling and interesting, but it’s not really like that. The characters are good, and the comedy feels quite genuine. The set is just okay. The story revolves around the male lead, who tries to settle matters between two parties to reduce conflicts and earns money from it. There’s some law-related stuff going on too. I watched the first two episodes and honestly had to force myself to find it interesting and keep going, but I just couldn’t. Since I’ve seen a lot of dramas by the male lead, I think it would’ve been cooler if he played a more thriller-type character. Still, it’s something new, he acts really well, but the series just didn’t catch my interest. I only pushed myself to watch two episodes because of him. The story has a few humorous and emotional moments, but I wouldn’t call it dark comedy or thriller. I honestly can’t even decide its exact genre. Maybe if you like the beginning, you’ll enjoy the rest of the show. It’s okay overall, just not my type.

The story is about a man who can see people’s deaths, the concept was good, but the casting just didn’t work. The acting wasn’t convincing at all. Someone with that kind of power should have a haunting presence, expressive yet tired eyes, something that gives you chills, but that was completely missing. The villain’s story was genuinely very sad, so it’s not even surprising that he wants to kill the people who destroyed his family. The ML, FL, and the villain all have tragic backstories, but there’s no real chemistry between the leads. And honestly, the villain doesn’t even feel like a villain, he seems more like a supporting hero, a good character overall. The story is so dragged out. And the way the police just instantly believe the ML’s “I can see death” thing, come on, be realistic. Maybe one person could believe him, but not the entire team. Turning a 16-episode story into 32 by splitting each one in half just made it even more tiring to watch. It definitely had potential, but sadly, it just didn’t deliver.

I have no idea why they ruined a perfectly written crime thriller. This review will only make sense if you’ve watched the series. The story is about a smart detective who’s trying to understand the psychological reasons behind criminals’ actions. At first, I thought it would be about multiple crime cases that he solves one by one. But instead, it focuses too much on his personal life and one main case connected to him. A serial killer, that storyline drags through the entire show unnecessarily. The serial killer literally never dies, he falls from high places, survives fires, and somehow always escapes. Everyone knows he’s the killer, yet no one catches him. His father, a rich and powerful man, once gets him out of trouble, and later he becomes the head prosecutor and no one questions him? And now suddenly his father is just… gone from the story? What even happened there? There’s the girl who got hurt because of the ML, she turns kind of psycho but not really. Somehow she’s always everywhere, at the hospital room of a notorious criminal which guided by the police itself, at a fire scene wearing a rescue mask, and it just makes no sense. Her relationship with the detective was okay at first, but later it just got bizarre. She kills her foster parents for “serious reasons,” and the detective doesn’t arrest her? She was nearly killed in the past, someone mysteriously saves her, takes her to a hospital leaves her there secretly, and she gets plastic surgery, with whose money?? And the part with the son of a wrongly accused man turning into a vengeful bomber, that was just too much. The whole thing became unbelievable and all over the place. Honestly, this could have been a brilliant crime thriller. The early twists were so good, like genuinely amazing. I kept watching till the end hoping it would get better or make sense, but it never did.

I honestly don’t understand why this series got such low ratings it's not that bad. It’s a remake of a Japanese series, which I haven’t seen, so I can’t compare the two. People are going to complain, either way, whether they copy the original or change a few things, so I’m just reviewing the Korean version on its own. The story follows three people who scam corrupt wealthy individuals and help those who were scammed by them. The plot is completely unrealistic, especially how they pull off the scams and how “genius” the female lead is, but let’s ignore that. Just watch it for entertainment; don’t take it seriously or expect any deep lessons. That being said, the series is genuinely fun and engaging. It keeps you hooked, and the villains’ stories are believable enough to make the plot feel less silly. All three leads did a great job, especially the detective, he’s such a funny character. However, there’s one thing that felt a bit off. If the female lead is so obsessed with her revenge, the show doesn’t give enough justification for all her efforts. The kidnapping plot could have been handled more sensibly instead of being played for laughs. By the end, the FL doesn’t show much aggression or fear toward the villain, which feels really odd. The entire story is unrealistic and over the top, but that part could’ve been fixed. The ending feels unsatisfying, they built up this whole revenge plot only for it to end so simply and easily. At the very least, they could’ve made that part more believable since it’s so connected to her life. Overall, it’s a decent watch when you’re bored. Recommended 👍🏻

This is a really good K-drama. It’s about a female serial killer, which itself makes the story very unique and interesting to watch. The series has only 8 episodes, so it’s easy to binge. All the actors have done a great job in their roles. Pros: • The cast is very talented and expressive. • The story is well-written and not dragged out. • The main highlight is definitely the story, it’s emotional, realistic, and very impactful. • The editing and vibe give a “thriller game” kind of feel, which makes it more engaging. • The female serial killer and her son delivered outstanding performances. • The reason behind the story, feels logical, emotional, and believable. Cons: • The actor who played the real culprit didn’t quite fit the role. She/He felt too normal and didn’t give off strong psychopath vibes. His/Her actions also felt a bit weak. • The cop’s wife’s role could have been written better. Their chemistry felt off, which lessened the emotional impact in some scenes.. • Stronger cinematography could have elevated the series even more. Overall, This is a very good K-drama, with the story being the biggest highlight. Story is so strong that most of the cons feel almost invisible.

You know when someone wants to tell you a story but doesn’t know how to start, where to start, what to say first or last, and then ends up leaving a dozen plot holes? This series is the perfect example of that. This is honestly one of the most unrealistic stories I’ve seen. The FL is treated like she’s the best Korean actress ever, but in reality that doesn’t stand out, almost every Korean Actress is beautiful, talented, and often even sings too. So her setup felt a bit overhyped.There’s barely any love story here, Realistically, the leads should’ve been written in their 40s. Here, the ML looks 40 while the FL’s character is supposed to be 50, which just feels off. Spoiler ⚠️ FL was a top actress in 1999 at age 25, and for some reason meets a detective ML. Her manager, a rival actress, and a businessman plot against her, causing an accident that leaves her with a scar. She disappears from the industry.(Again Unbelievable) After 25 years, she has another accident and magically forgets all those years, believing she’s still 25, but wakes up as a 50-year-old woman. She meets the detective again at the hospital, but neither recognizes the other at first. He’s investigating a case connected to FL Somehow. Then they keep running into each other by coincidence. Later, the FL reconnects with her former makeup artist, who has now become very successful and well-known in the industry and is rich. Then FL tries to re-enter the industry. With the makeup artist and the detective. And somehow, she quickly becomes known by people again. In the end, the villains are exposed, FL regains her memory, gets famous again, remembers the detective, and even wins an award. It all just feels so predictable and forced. The first episodes was good and the intro animation was cute, but by the end of episode 2 or 3 it became boring. You know exactly how it’ll play out, with only one twist, the FL hallucinates a girl who lived in her Studio apartment building some time ago but had actually died. Beyond that, nothing surprising. Overall, a boring series you can skip and not miss a thing.

This series had potential with its premise, a brilliant surgeon falsely accused of malpractice, stripped of his license, and later returning as a lawyer specializing in medical malpractice. On paper, the setup is intriguing, he’s out to expose the corrupt hospital director, his son, and others involved in shady practices. But sadly, the execution falls flat. The dialogues aren’t medical jargon, yet they still feel stiff and unnatural. The side characters are dull, with uninteresting subplots that drag the story down. One “big investor” type character comes off more annoying than impactful. The biggest issue, however, is the casting. Almost every role feels miscast. The female lead, especially, is painful to watch, her reactions are so unconvincing that even in the scene of her brother’s death, the male lead seemed to grieve more than she did. There’s zero chemistry between the leads, making their romance completely unconvincing. This drama feels like wanting to be “Doctor Prisoner”, but it never even came close. With poor writing, bad casting, and flat characters, it’s a wasted opportunity.
