Mixed reviews had me worried. However this book far exceeded my expectations. It took me a minute to get past what I thought the book was going to be about and what it actually was about. I thought it would be more about The Poppy fields, the experiment and the horrible side effect. It was briefly about that. However it flip flopped from the fields, applications and media on it, and largely focused on the journey of a few ppl heading to the fields for very different reasons. I loved the way everything unfolded and intertwined. The book is about loss, love and most importantly the journey of life and our emotions surrounding our loved ones. I loved this book and recommend it. 10/10
