One of the worst movies ever made, not just within the sci-fi genre but of all time. Poor writing, poor acting and with no regard for plot or story telling. This movie marks the end of Halle Berry's career as he performance is as bland as the cast of characters that support her. The speed at which the film moves is hugely distracting, within 20 minutes into the film the world is collapsing, civilization is doomed and the usual tropes begin. Holloywood had been steadily declining in its quality for decades, this movie feels like a middle finger to anyone with half an expectation of what a good movie can be. Giving it one star is generous.
