Acting was shocking!! CGI was incredible and music was absolutely wonderful. But the acting was so horrible it was like they didn’t know how to change tone, or what speed they wanted to talk at. The characters had so many different accents from different places. Gobber was English 😐. Stoick was the only good actor and he had the proper accent too. As a die hard fan seeing them mix movie 3 knowledge with movie 1 knowledge broke my heart, like fishlegs’ info cards. As well as the cutting of important scenes after the first flight scene with the terrible terrors, that’s where hiccup learnt that dragons have been misunderstood and they’re not fireproof from the inside which is how he knows how to beat the red death. The movie also added lines which were completely unnecessary and wrong, such as Astrid stating she was going to be the chief one day, again 😐😐🫠 Pretty dissatisfied with the movie, my heart actually feels broken.

SPOILERS!!! I LIKED the film because it gave us adventure and something we don't usually see, but the film was definitely missing emotion. When the little boy was kissed by the little girl he just stood there. The squirrel claimed revenge on the boy and yet did nothing and when the tiger " Barry" was introduced there was no excitement or fear of what was going to happen next, it just turns out he had mummy issues. The movie wasn't like the trailer and definitely could have used more dramatic music- especially when the boy had to get passed the sleeping lions. A few things weren't sensible like the dragonfly complaining about his girlfriend dumping him and waking up the lion by landing on it's whisker whereas when the boy opened up the secret chamber it made a TON of noise. Plus the opening of the chamber and the getting into the palace seemed like anyone could have done it as the polar bear got into the armoury so easily.The dragon was dealing with pain as Dr Dolittle related too as a loss of someone they bot loved but then he turns it into a stomach ache and bad digestion. The movie felt rushed but it definitely was funny and great to see the different personalities each character was given, and their amusing remarks. I do recommend watching this movie for a family movie night it definitely is good but there were a few/ many things that could have been worked on. Good job to all who made the movie- Congratulations and I hope when making your next movie you consider these things as to pull on the audiences heart strings. 👍
