Was fortunate to get an opportunity to watch the special screening of The Kerala Story . The movie scares you as a mother of a daughter . Is it so easy for Abrahamics to convince our daughters that their God is superior ? That their God is to be feared ? We have always taught our children to love Shri Krishna , to decorate his cradle , to dress him up , to Rock his cradle to fan him as he sleeps …. Are we wrong in not teaching them to fear him ? To tell them he is your friend, your elder , your sibling whoever you want him to be . That Mahadev is Bhole who forgives us should we be sorry for our actions . That LOVE is the only relationship you must have with our Bhagwans and Devis . How can a religion which was founded by a PDF file show you how to lead a honourable life ? Shouldn’t that religion be rejected outright based on the life the founder led ? Do we eulogise Ravana or Duryodhana ? DO we name our children after them ? Infact we Hindus had stopped naming children PRAN bcoz of the roles he played in the movies . This movie made me realise that I have to tell my children infact highlight every flaw of the Abrahamic religions in order that they understand why they should never be influenced by predators . Never be friends with them . Better be SAFE than SORRY . Watch #TheKeralaStory with your daughter or sister without fail .
