I really was interested in this show because I love comedies. I’m mixed raced with black and Caucasian, so a great portion of the racism in it wasn’t a problem because I know how people think, even when they love someone from a different race. However, I realized the end was a problem to me (marrying an African woman, having a bunch of kids from that woman while u were with her, then the show only focusing on the white children he had in the end, which were all about the show, to me at least, seemed pretty triggering. I know… lots of people will say: “there we go again, what’s the big deal?” But u tell me, what other movie do u know talks this bluntly about white racism and expresses this type of narrative?…. I’m not hoping for an answer.
