If I'm being brutally honest, the most action I experienced during Jurassic World: Rebirth was trying to stay comfortable in that stiff seat and even that had more plot development than the movie itself.
The film dragged. Three minutes of chewing (yes, literal chewing) of Altoids and somehow that was supposed to be tension? This entire thing felt like a blatant cash grab. No real story. No emotional pull. The characters were flat, and the so-called “family” subplot? Completely irrelevant. I felt absolutely nothing for any of them.
And don’t even get me started on the logic. They’re on the equator — where apparently humans aren’t even allowed to go because of the dinosaur threat — but somehow, there’s zero security? Not one ounce of sense was made.
This movie basically walked into the room and pulled the plug on the franchise. years later, and we got this? No land-based mutants, no stakes, no soul. Just… boredom in surround sound.
Bottom line: terrible seats, worse movie. Save your money and let this franchise rest in prehistoric peace. 🦖
10/ 10 would pet the D,rex who's only screen time was in the preview.
