Regarding PBS New Hour’s coverage of “reproductive rights”, I see a strong bias. It is more accurately “abortion rights”, since they don’t want to “reproduce”. PBS is supposed to show both sides of the story. Yes, a few women have very poor outcomes after attempting an abortion, or due to miscarriage, etc. But the millions of abbortions are due to people not wanting their children. They did not have medical complications. They could have used several choices of birth control before becoming pregnant. They could have been made more aware of support for parents and children. Lastly, they could be told the truth about what abortion does to their unborn child. They, and we, need to know the rest of the story.
