Huge fan of this franchise. This movie had some fun kills and Tony Todd's performance was amazing. Giving us a reason to who he was to this franchise was beautifully done. But I think so many are over hyping this and it's not near level as it should be. The story seems nonsense, lazy and just like they couldn't decide where to go and what to do with it. I felt no character development at all and the fact we see the main character just have a dream as opposed to premonitions was lame. I wish this was bloodlines to tie everyone with a premonition to the main story. Not a hater at all just felt this was rushed and horribly done.

Seriously tried to like this. I felt bad for alot of what she went through and yes they were her tapes and etc but she struck me as a self indulged person who let friends around her struggle and ignored their cries. Those tapes of Brandis are a scream for help and she seemed to be very boy crazy and let them in and out of her life and was detached easily.

This movie was absolutely beautiful. It took me back to waiting for it to come on before school in the late 80s. They did an amazing job and incorporated alot of things from the original. The characters were lovable and it is now my favorite cartoon movie reboot. Hope for another
