Great, great movie! Expertly acted and directed. I found it to be a very honest and realistic portrayal of life and loss without a bunch of phony plot twists and hooks. If you are looking for excitement, then this movie is not for you. However, if you want to see a very real heartfelt and honest human response to hurt, loss, loneliness, strength and survival of the human spirit, you will find it in this movie. I found it sad, but also uplifting in so many ways. You don't always see such honesty in movies relative to the moments of joy that is received by giving to others. Very subtle short-lived moments that add real meaning to what sometimes seems like an otherwise pointless journey.

Great acting! An overall great movie! It is difficult to watch, because you can go through a whole box of tissue while doing so. It is a great depiction of someone fortunate enough to have what you can rightfully call "a true friend". It is such a rare thing to have such a friend, but this movie illustrates it so well! Guaranteed to pull on your heart strings! Casey Affleck is always a joy to watch, but Jason Segel stole the show. You just want to hug him!
