Stilted is the feeling throughout. On many occasions I felt the Editor of the film had fallen asleep, so many scenes overly long, with no real reason why. So disappointed, as I learnt about the Peterloo Massacre at school, and looked forward to seeing this film. Fortunately I saw it was on Amazon and not at the Cinema - having to sit there for over 2.5 hours. As others have stated; at times it reminds you of a Pantomime, with the' Baddies' being so over the top. As a previous fan of Mike Leigh, I hope he can get back to the quality he's shown before.

Absolutely loved the show at first but had to stop watching by last episode of season 1. I simply cannot stand the Sally character, so conceited and self absorbed. Can only return when Barry sees the light and gets someone better.
