I love the powerful message of the real struggle of recovery from addiction that’s portrayed in all of these journeys in this show, but I don’t love how Discovery and TLC have portrayed a lot of its shows with people’s personal struggles like this into just entertainment almost like they aren’t people anymore. These are real people’s lives with real struggles. Dr Now has a huge heart and empathy and he’s just trying to help, so it’s a shame that the show is struggling with legal trouble. I’d love to see the show come back with more episodes with hopefully more positive outcomes. I’m routing for all people who struggle with addiction on their tough journeys! Never give up hope
