About 12 hours in got to a mission with boot Hill. After the mission keeps getting stuck on load. After the second time force close the game in PlayStation five and then save file was corrupted. This is unacceptable, uninstalled the game and probably won’t be playing again. Almost no NPC’s are roaming the streets it’s like playing a game from 10 years ago or you feel like you’re playing in a ghost town. A shame because I liked all the other saints row games but this by far was the worst at launch. The driving is terrible. You’ll be driving in a straight line and then all of a sudden you make a 90° turn from a pebble in the road I’m assuming. Multiple missions I had to redo because the next objective wouldn’t load correctly or the game would freeze. Shooting in this game and gun use feels like it hasn’t changed since Saints Row two. I guess that’s not too terrible but kind of was hoping for more. The game is littered with bugs. No engine sounds whatsoever. If you get into too many crashes in a vehicle the whole game mutes and there’s no sound. Corrupted game save file after 12 hours. Multiple restarts to complete a mission that keeps freezing or is so buggy you can’t complete the next objective. Multiple cut scenes that will not play you just look at your character with his arms sticking out like a scarecrow. I really was looking forward to this game which sucks because now I just wasted $80 on a game I might not touch again because we all know after save file corrupted error and you have to start over that just really sucks. I would wait for a really good sale or for these issues to be addressed before picking this game up. But from what I played the most annoying thing is the bugs if this was fixed it’s an OK game and the story really isn’t as bad as the reviews say. If you do decide to pick this game up I suggest manually saving as much as possible or you will find yourself redoing previous missions quite a bit.
