Rob and Lou Nix

I find the casting poor, the dialog boring, the effects quite variable, the direction questionable, the plot nonsensical. After watching season 1, I was left underwhelmed and simply didn’t care, at all, about any of the characters. Some reviewers seem to like Rosamund Pike’s performance, and think she saves the show; I found her to be monotonously serious, uninspiring and lacking in charisma. Ditto for the dark lord. Totally boring, uncharismatic villain? Nope. More like a bad boss. Tried watching Season 2, and got through maybe 15 min before the toddler’s desire for more baby shark videos won out—she was right, baby shark is better than this, and I am so. sick. of. sharks!
