There's been so much publicity about this movie on social media so I had to rent it. I've learned that a lot of people on social media, don't get out much and really don't have the social intelligence to understand this movie. The movie is about oppression and empowerment. Remember, it's for adults and definitely contains adult material, but if you're able to really understand various cultures and understand that " norms" differ, it's very enlightening. It scares me that this movie has so many people upset. So many simple minded, undereducated viewers. It's definitely too much for some to comprehend. Movies that require deep thought are not meant for simpletons to understand. But I'm sure they appreciate the free marketing.
