As someone who has taught college for decades, I'm sorry to say that I didn't find this show realistic or entertaining. The first episode was somewhat promising, but it went downhill in the remaining episodes. The students in particular come off as cruel and dictatorial; my students are not like that, fortunately. And the older faculty are ridiculed and made to look silly and incompetent. (And one more point: a dean can't pressure tenured professors to quit) There was zero chemistry between the Chair and the drunken English professor. Also, I didn't care for all the slapstick, which dominated the last few episodes. I do have to say, though, that the acting is very good. These talented actors are wasted in this predictable and poorly written series.
