Silly, but totally entertaining!

I love watching the show and watching the artists’ processes, as I’m an amateur oil painter. But the judges always reward the painting that seems to have the least relationship to the view they’re given. So for future entrants, don’t bother painting what you see, just throw some dark paint on whatever your canvas is and call it “moody and dramatic.” Just finished the 2019 series and I do humbly need to revise this. The artists who were in the final were all amazing and the winner completely blew my mind with her ink masterpiece of Venice.

Woody Harrelson’s performance captured the truth about alcoholism in the family. The alcoholic isn’t all bad, but when drinking can be a nightmare. A brilliant man who loved his kids, but because of his drinking, and his trauma, he could never be the parent they needed or reach his potential, no matter how big his dreams were. Heartbreaking and honest.
