The Forest.
Thick black forest.
Its beauty, ruggedness, and occultism are all in the film ‘Churuli.’
Like in his previous films, Lijo Jose Pallissery has made ‘Churuli’ a special visual treat through his own style of narratives and soundtrack. In addition, the camera has done an excellent job offering a lot of wide-angle and passing shots.
The actors have done their best. Men were remarkable. The female characters are brave and potent though they are less in number.
A perfect movie and brilliant filmmaking.
A Boffo, certainly.
Still, the overindulgence of profanity exasperates an average spectator. Not sure that any society communicates in such an abusive and coarse language throughout. OK, admitted, the film is not an integration of life but the magnification of a portion of it.
Should there be a sensor board set up in OTT, too, soon?
Obviously, without these many ‘swearwords’ in abundance, ‘Churuli’ is capable enough to remain a good piece of artwork.
Let’s leave ‘Churuli.
Especially when we consider the film as a visual experience and ‘Churuli’ just hit the target.
The fear is that the abundance of usage of offensive language in the film may grow as a trend. Shall we hear the foul language continuously, whether required or not, spit by the Malayalam movies?
What did you utter? Good or bad, the trend is the best?
