An unexpected love story that connects two kindred souls. Major Bistrica captures the best qualities of all armed service personnel. The backdrop of the Army and it's traditions and discipline were a welcome familiarity for this Marine Corps brat. Beautifully written by a thoughtful author. It kept me anxiously reading until the end. I hope there is a sequel.
