SD Smith

The show does a great job of conveying the fast paced, and brutal world of a Michelin rated chef and his aspirations to create his own restaurant. It sets up some interesting workplace and family dynamics that leads you to believe that something big is brewing. After watching the first two seasons, I am baffled at how this series earned a 96% rotten tomatoes or won so many Emmys - it just limps along like a horizontal graph with nothing terribly exciting transpiring from show to show. It is well acted by all and maybe that is enough for the viewers it has attracted and kept on board, but I can't watch a season 4 unless the 3rd season is much improved.
