Ugh. I cannot reclaim those 2 hours of my life. I took my son and daughter to the movie and thought we could just have a night of fun. My daughter wore a cute dress and heels, I wore pink. My son did his thing but wanted to hang out. We were all mutually disappointed. It's one thing to have fun with the ridiculous standards of Barbie and make fun of that. That is the story we expected. Instead, it was a lecture, a completely sh** on men, and painfully obvious that the casting director aimed to check every DEI box. We hoped for a fun Friday night and instead I'm making redemption plans with my kids and writing a review to hopefully save others from the peril of wasting 2 hours of your precious life.
