I'd give this album 6 stars if I could. It's amazing. Not "hit" heavy, except for Tiny Dancer, which wasn't a big hit when it was released, and "Levon" which some may remember. Instead it's a journey recounting Elton and Bernie's early days in the U.S. The haunting title track, the tragic Razor Face, the fanciful Holiday Inn - all great storytelling. And Indian Sunset, the beginnings of Bernie's fascination with America's old west days, is a must-listen track. The orchestral arrangement is genius and takes these songs who a whole new level that was rarely heard on the radio back then. Put the album on, turn down the lights, grab a glass of wine (or your choice of beverage) and get lost in the journey.
