Close adaptation of the Novel "Esther Ruth and Jennifer" a thriller written by TV comedy writer Jack Davis includes perhaps the second greatest performance by Sir Roger Moore in his long history of films (The first being his casting against type role in The Man who Haunted Himself).
Playing off against James Mason, Anthony Perkins and a young Michael Parks, the story is fast, clever and intelligent.
