I honestly loved it a lot. As someone who fell in love with the books I had high expectations and was scared they weren’t going to live up to them. Yes it does leave out some details from the book but you have to remember it’s only 7 episodes and it’s hard to fit every single detail into that few amount of episodes. I am from the US so I heard people from the UK saying some bad things about it being rushed but I agree with but I had to be to try to fit as much detail as they could. I loved the actors and they looked just I pictured them. Emma Myers was amazing as Pippa and Zain was extremely good as Ravi.

Really loved seeing the movie great actors, great soundtrack, great plot. I am a diehard Hunger Games Fan but have not read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes so I can not say if it close to the book or not. I gives you a real insight of Snows background and of a few things that show up later in the other Hunger Games movies. I know some may not like Rachel Ziegler but I think she was amazing in the movie.
