This k-drama got me hooked, it is believed to be inspired by the real-life story of Samsung heiress who wedded an employee of her family's company. "Queen of tears" (2024)perfectly lives up to its title, each and every episode made me cry, especially the ending it's completely opposite of what I've prepared myself for. The series depicts the crisis and rekindling of love between Hong Hae-in, a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and Baek-Hyun -woo, the son of farmers from Yongdu-ri, and their three years of marriage. Overall the casting , plot, acting , everything is incredible , I think I got it now why Kim Soo- Hyun is so popular in South Korea. And how can I forget Kim- Ji-won my one of favourite actress since Descendants of the sun (2016). Got to know that "Crash Landing on You" (2019)and "Queen of tears" penned by the same screenwriter Park Ji Eun. Both are highest rated k-drama. Well if you are looking for a rom-com with a pinch of sadness and beautiful life lessons then go for this drama! ♡

So yesterday I watched this movie and it was disappointing. Stree was much better and engaging but this looks forced, comedy seems bit off. However I like Shraddha leading as the female protagonist but for Rajkumar Rao's role it feels like something is missing he's just not giving the vibe of a male protagonist, also the involvement of Varun Dhawan aka bhediya seems unnecessary.

Love this movie, Shahrukh and preity chemistry, the aesthetics, the storyline🤌🏼 top-notch. Really recommend if you are looking for some reunited lovers theme.
