Wholesome timeless childhood emotion for every 90s kids, For early 2000 era of Bollywood this genre & concept was totally out of box & way ahead of it's time. Recently saw 1982's E.T. by Steven Spielberg, alien part in KMG's storyline was taken from here. Now there's counter argument that ET's concept was plagiarised from Satyajit Ray's unproduced movie script, however it doesn't justify when frame by frame screenplay is copy pasted, ET should have been credited. Luckily alien plot just aids to totally different main storyline of Rohan Mehra born with developmental disability. My comparison as perspective of Indian audience, ET is extremely well made movie although being science fiction has subtle realistic treatment(which somehow makes it one time watchable), on other hand you'll never get enough from KMG through It's stupid yet wholesome beautiful storytelling. Production quality wise ET looks way better in every aspect from cinematography, animatronics to special effects even being 20 year older than KMG
