Could have been 5 stars but I took off 2 bc I feel emotionally ransacked. Overall excellent concept, good acting for the subject, but an angry ending… something told me not to trust the allure to binge this sucker. I was hooked throughout the series but I had a feeling they would mess the end up and they did. It was alright for me that most of the series’ episodes were happy endings…THAT IS WHAT WE WISH WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. That ALL VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND TRAFFICKING are found, still alive, & and were able to rebuild their lives and become beautiful blossoms that only added to the world and paid their positive recovery forward. I’m ecstatic to see TV doing what it was meant to do: entertain and help us escape the injustice, inequality and insanity of Life’s reality, even if for only 30 mins. BUT BUT BUT, If they get picked up for a 3rd season by a miracle, I’m already irritated because the writers wrote as though they knew they would be cancelled and not coming back. The ending was not a real cliffhanger, it was an angry revenge closure. I’m definitely upset that I got started on this, binged like a kid in a candy store only for the writers to have had the nerve to end it out the way they did. I mean if it gets picked up; they could make what they did a dream sequence BUT I doubt it. They just left me mad. Just NOT right
