Finally someone speaks reality instead of wish fulfillment. If the odds for cure were not high, I would not pursue these painful and debilitating treatments causing medical insurance to skyrocket and patients and families to suffer. We rarely do this to pets; we don't want them to suffer. But people must suffer and suffer. We need to be realistic when it comes to medical care, death, and so much more. Thanks to an author and physician who tells the truth and documents it, we may finally begin to address these issues.
