WHY does Drew get in everyone’s personal space creeping closer and closer and unable to read their obvious body language. It is so uncomfortable to watch. Her guests scoot over and she follows. Her guest puts their arm on the back of the couch and Drew puts hers on top. She rubs their hand with her thumb like one might do to sooth someone terribly up set or dying in a hospital. I don’t know how her guests can concentrate on the conversation. There is a pillow between them when they sit down, but by the end, Drew will either be on top of that or beyond in an effort to be in the guest’s personal space. It is very awkward and disturbing to watch. Then her feet or legs will come up onto the couch and her knees will be touching her guests. Whether or not the guest is comfortable with that physical closeness, it is so uncomfortable to watch. So, I don’t watch the show, due to the lack of personal space throughout it. Guests and topics are great and Drew can be quite entertaining. She has a lot of history in the business to share, great connections, and a good sense of humor, but the touching and in one’s face is just not entertaining, and instead creates an awkward, uncomfortable atmosphere.
