Really poor writing and a watered down plot that was predictable with weak characters. Dialogue was drab and bland. Character of Emily was a pushover with no back bone or courage. She was written so poorly. Betsy was a boring caricature with a one note attitude. There were only a handful of possible bad guys, and you knew who it would be from the beginning. I bought this book as a good plane read, but I want my time back after a 455 page dull as dirt book. And that ending in the ambulance…what garbage.
