Squid Game camp is reminiscent of military training camp in Korea. Isolated location, diverse background of people, ranks in trainers, red uniform of trainers, no name, number identifier, wake up music, light out, gentle voice, harsh punishment, visits by supervising generals. Many Korean male adults retain scary memory in their military service, esp. from training camp. Politicians misused military training camp in early 1980's. Military junta chose people of bad reputation and sent them to military camp 삼청교육대 Samcheong Training Camp, under no verdict. Hundreds were dead. Unconstituional, similar to Nazi or Stalin thing.
