I knew this series would be different with Donald glover‘s name being behind it. The first episode set a high standard for the rest of this series because they had a lot of suspension buildup and then you know you had that explosion with the cake,that’s what I wanted to see more of in the series that I did not get. like I’m all for the working on the relationship parts but it just felt like one big therapy session more than Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was more about their marriage than any action or any missions that you know may have made a turn and they had to clean up their mess. Everything was rushed in my opinion when they could’ve slow down, do like an episode like Mission impossible, while having brief moments of that love, hate relationship that they have. I was expecting a more Jason Bourne like series with clues, action, adventure. What I got was a boring Atlanta spinoff.
