Terrible, lazy and in no way a reimagining of the original. No one can keep a Maine accent more than a scene. The actor who plays Mark is the only shining moment as well as the set and styling which holds. I have never been so sad to await a new rendition and see that the original made more sense narratively than this version. The only thing that was cool was the vampires in the roof and I am being super generous with that. Main vampire Barlow was a disappointment. Really? We can’t improve his n a 1970’s vampire? Watch the original, creepier by far than this. I am just sad Stephen King has to see another crappy movie about one of his great, long-living stories.
