This movie is terrible. It's a bad caricature of a thriller, trying too hard to be atmospheric and overusing tropes of the genre to that end: the neuro divergent female detective lead who's of course related to the murders, the coded messages left by the killer, the grainy instant photographs, the flashing images on screen... Massive UGH!!! The "creepy" Longlegs character is just as silly as real Nicolas Cage and every turn in the plot is unbelievably predictable... How the hell did it get a 85% on Rotten Tomatoes?????
