This show is not for the average minded thinker or the middled class American. This show is has a twisted but drawing view or art, sex and industry. If you’re easily disturbed by raunchy verbiage and sadistic bondage then this isn’t for you. But for us 1% who understand the drive to create more and to showcase our inner beast through art then this show Will completely suck you into a wormhole that you won’t want releasing from. The Weeknd character is scary yet thrilling, he makes you want to hang up your phone and lock your doors yet hope he sneaks in through a broken window in the kitchen. I love its attack on the modern idealism of what a pop singer should be vs the reality of what fame is and the cost of it. Jocelyn character is relatable to anyone trying to cope with grief and still living with the expectations of being great. I keep waiting for the moment he turns her into a vampire lol ohhh and the imagery and camera angles are incredible and so is the music!! Give it a chance you won’t regret it!!
