I think this series is really down to earth and very authentic. Well acted as most of British films/tv series are. The atmosphere is true to life and the viewer is drawn to these countries, times and events as if being there with the characters. Well done..... a five star series. Hope it will continue because it would be a shame not to.

I love it. It is quirky and true to nature and behavior of the every day people in a small community. The doctor is fantastic in diagnostics even though his manners are somewhat lacking; but he saves lives. I've watched the 9th season and really hope it will continue because to leave him ripped of his license is just not acceptable. Doc Martin is such a relief from all else that is showing these days, enough crimes and fast moving thrillers and action series; enough of those. I prefer real life drama based more on normal every-day events but well played and made interesting by life itself with some good lessons to be learned. Doc Martin is all that. Please gives us more of him. thank you.
