Superior casting. Incredible action scenes with attention to detail bring catastrophic scale to life. It illustrates just how dangerous alien super beings could be and why that could be a problem for mere mortals like Bruce Wayne. While the level of catastrophe is not everyone's cup of tea, there are many Superman stories to tell and this is one of better ones to grapple with horror of such power. While graphic, it manages to capture the humanity of the character.

Not only is this the best Star Wars movie, it has rehabilitated the original story and spawned its best series in Andor. It captures all of the original mystery, action, suspense of the original Star Wars, then ends incredibly with the most chilling and satisfying Vader scene on any screen. This is a well thought out story that leads directly into a new hope, a detail that does not matter much to this narrative. The editing and soundtrack is superior, and the casting is immaculate (Tudyk, especially). I could watch this over and over again, and a rewatch of the Andor series made me do just that.
