I enjoy superhero themed stories, I thoroughly enjoy litrpgs, and I LOVE a good "adult themed" story. As long as it's told told well, that is. I got the book 1-4 boxset on Audible and made it less than 20 minutes in before I was so disgusted that I had to stop it, listen to a completely different story, and eventually return the boxset. This was the first adult themed story I attempted that was written by a (I'm assuming) man and it was obvious why those written by women garner more popularity. It was crude and off putting pretty much immediately. The MMC met his first ally, who I'm assuming was going to end up being one of the FMC as it has a harem building theme, and immediately had intercourse with her, which while wholly unbelievable, I was willing to overlook, but the description of the acts and the choice of words used made me so uncomfortable I was compelled to leave a review. If you enjoy works by Laurell K Hamilton, or similar authors, then I implore my fellow readers/ listeners to double think your choice before purchasing this story.
