The movie just sucks.here is an entire list of reasons why.oh and if you are a fan of rock Riordan please,just don’t watch the movie first it litterally spoiled most of the lightning thief storyline even though the movie is litterally trash! 1.they litterely skipped everything.it started quite decent with Percy under water and then submerging up of the pool in eight minutes but after that they made a TWO minute long introduction on Mrs dodds and chiron(well,the Latin teacher version)but then Nancy Bobofit was missing!and mrs dodds turned to a fury but Chiron “threatened” to slay mrs dodds(now Alecto)and she ran away just because of it. 2.nothing of Percy’s backstory was metioned.it showed about smelly Gabe sure but nothing about how Percy’s mom was basically all he had as mentioned in the book! 3.they changed camp half blood like CHANGE it.the cabins were tents,there wasn’t the camp half blood shirts and where were the strawberry fields? 4.ares and his cabin was missing and clarifies was never introduced.they were key characters. 5.they didn’t show Percy in Hermes’ cabin and missed out on the fact that percy became “lord of the bathroom” when Clarice picked on him and nearly got his head in toilet water.end of story.
