Loved the carefully crafted plot lines, the surprising twists and turns that takes this story to a very satisfying ending. The interlocking sub stories were a treat! Although some of the characters made me think at first "ok, yeah, Russian" as the story progressed their essential humanity shone through and it was then a story of normal people doing their best in - lets call them difficult and extraordinary situations. Bravo for the acting cast, and even the bad guys were believable if not lovable. Bravo also for the writers and directors who never lost their way or stinted on character development. I would surely watch more from this group.
