Resistance or death!
It is one man against the entire regime. This is what Amir Zargara shows in his short film ‘A Good Day will Come’. Inspired by the real life story of sportsman Navid Afkari who was executed by Iranian authorities for his role in the protests, A Good Day will Come finds an Iranian wrestler in a moral dilemma as he has to choose between his sports and his rebellion against the government. The film is sharp, poignant and fitting as Zargara puts the audience right in the shoes of the protagonist. With so much at stake, Zargara shows how people rebelling against the regime put so much on the line and how even a single act of defiance can change history. I loved the film!
