Movie was thumbs down. Why remake sequel only to use same premise as Halloween 2 where Michael "dies" in fire? Lazy writing to me. The ending of original also loses cache as it doesn't have any value anymore. Should have kept Halloween 2 and maybe H2O as canon for better continuity. Difficult to overlook the traditional bus breaks down at night on a lonely road and no shackles on prisoners. Why would they transport in the middle of the night with a few guards? Makes no sense. Works in the 70s but not present day with GPS and cellphones. Also why still live in Haddonfield?
