Well acted but overly long.
The first act was the most compelling. The close-ups and intimacy of the camera work is what drew me in and held me.
The love-making was raw and real and well done but gratuitous, and as a male viewer I actually fast-forwarded. And I'm far from a prude.
Emma encouraged Adele to write, to escape the surface world, to pursue some artful outlet, but she chose not to, hence her inner loneliness, which led to her infidelity.
Not sure how much we or Adele learn here....
