Having watched the whole series , it was painful to watch the lead character Harry Virdee trying to get back with his family and asking for acceptance of his Muslim wife as well as working as a policeman and getting mixed up with criminals more close to home than he would want, the acting is superb and the plot compelling very well written and not pulling any punches of Asian life . It’s a brilliant series , but some scenes were distressing to watch especially when Harry is made to ask for forgiveness in the ‘old’ way . I’ve become a fan of the series hope it continues with more .

Lovely relaxing watch, perfect comfort tv , love Sally Lindsey and ‘Dom’ ! I enjoyed the 1st series , do hope another will be commissioned, not enough decent tv around nowadays . Thanks Sally !!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the drama, all the actors were talented and played their characters well, suitable boy gave us an insight into a time and culture that was torn,and looking for a footing on its own, against a backdrop of outside influences, I enjoyed it ! Well done BBC!!
