I watched the movie and then read the reviews and am fascinated by how many people did not get it. Well, Todd Philips, I got it and boy was it cool. If you are a movie buff who thinks that story telling involves every aspect of the cinematic viewing (camera shots, angles, music, dialogue, body movement), then you too will understand and enjoy this movie. Watch carefully and understand that each aspect was done with intention to give a deeper understanding of characters. For those familiar with the DC universe, you will be slightly confused as to why some characters do not have the same personality you know, but be patient it will all make sense at the end of the film. Even if its not everyone's cup of tea, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I hope Todd Philips sticks with this style of movies as he does it well.
