Great music and action with a compelling storyline and satisfying action animations and weapon selection. Perfect game to unwind at end of the day or pick up for ten minutes which easily turn into am hour or two. The action dialog is repetitive but also makes you laugh out loud and is even part of the battle communication once you catch on... I find myself with lots to do in the world, and I love running across the landscape to find a battle or animated sequence with my very real-feeling companions following at my heels.. The game has so many moments where you think, I wish I could do this, and then it let's you do that! The game developers were really two steps ahead of the gamers wants and needs at every turn and gives you options that you didnt hink possible. The story line is also unique, refreshing, and super fascinating and remind me of a refined Jak and Daxter 3 while the gameplay is like what Kingdom of Amalur, (besides the no online mode),originally strove to be. The scenery makes you feel like there is a complete world inside your switch, and you can't wait to look through the window again. I marvel at the story writers, and Ibcant help but feel like this game would make kids act like better friends to each other. The monsters are delightfully strange, chimera-like, and menacingly cute with just enough scales, teeth and feathers to still get your adrenaline flowing. The male's gender fluid character design and gender neutral take some getting used to, but then the genderfluid outifts have a purpose later in the game.
I am so glad that I chanced upon this game.
