The show’s first few episodes started off excellent - it was mysterious, creative, unique, a little creepy and I was eager to learn what happened to Edgar. I thought the set design and costumes were well done. It was in episode four that it started to drag a bit. And seemed to lose its way and wasted a lot of time on minor things. The whole homeless scenes in the subway dragged on way too long. I think they should’ve cut it at four or possibly five episodes because it lost steam. I wish it had more action and intricacy of characters, but thought the cop’s life was way too intimate and overdramatic. I think Vincent’s character was overacted and the excess of alcohol and crack was overkill. But overall, I thought it was worth watching. I feel like the last two episodes did drag though. And the ending was a little lackluster and contrite ending in a simple cut and dry unrealistic way. I thought Edgar was the best actor of all and so was the good cop. But overall, yes, a good show. Worth watching. I just wish it had kept its wonderful pace/aura that it had at the beginning in the first few episodes because it kind of went downhill. Sadly, so.
