I am not a professional film critic or film maker. I don't know anything about camera angles and so on. However in my humble layman's opinion this was terrible.
The message of the film seems to be: If you are a journalist and, in the middle of a war, you hop into a car and drive into territory occupied by rogue insurgents and/or drive into the middle of active combat zones you will probably end up dead. I think I already knew that.
And I don't think that present day journalists actually ever do that. In the Iraq War from 2003 to 2011 one American journalist was violently killed. Steven Vincent was kidnapped and murdered in 2005. Several other American journalists died in car accidents.
